Ads.txt file error

Today, my website was approved by AdSense. However, when I checked my profile, it showed an error indicating that the ads.txt file was not in the main directory. Following the necessary instructions, I created the ads.txt file and uploaded it to the public_html section via cPanel. I also checked the process by visiting siteaddress.com/ads.txt. Even though the file is visible, I am still encountering the same error. Will it be fixed in a few hours, or is there something else I need to do? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
