Adsense Advertisement Error

Hello, I have a blog site with a Wordpress infrastructure. When I try to add display ads through Adsense, instead of the ad appearing where I placed it, I see the code (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});. I've tried opening an incognito tab to see if it's a cookie issue, but that wasn't the problem. I'm sure I didn't copy the ad code incorrectly. This is the first time this has happened to me, and I couldn't find any similar cases. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you.
