Adsense Approval

Greetings friends, My Personal Blog is still awaiting approval from AdSense. The articles are somewhat amateurish but they receive good traffic, totaling 1363 hits. I have created a Sitemap, ads.txt, etc. Do you have any suggestions? Perhaps my article count is low, which might be why. I look forward to hearing about your experiences.
