bbPress, MyBB, and SMF (soru)

Hello. I wanted to create a forum for the website in my signature. I tried to install bbpress as I was thinking of a simple forum. However, even though I opened a topic on the forum, I cannot see what I wrote for testing purposes. Unfortunately, there is not enough support for this plugin. I guess there are few users using it. (If you look at my site, I think I can explain it better.) I have read many topics on the forum, especially comparison topics. As for my question: Can you recommend a simple forum application that is free, easy to use, and functional?
