Hello; I want to add a forum to my WordPress site. I keep saying each time, my intention is not commercial but to be helpful. Forum scripts are very expensive. I was considering Xenforo, but it is extremely pricey and my hosting company (VER?DYEN) doesn't support it. I have used almost all forum scripts in the past 15 years. However, they have come a long way from when I used them. I am looking for a fast, performance-oriented, user-friendly forum that won't strain the system. I'm not looking for extravagant, ultra-featured things. It should be able to integrate with my WordPress blog. I am curious about both paid and free ideas. I don't have a budget, but at least something will form in my mind. Can you recommend a high-performing forum software that will increase user engagement and benefits?
