Has Avast cleaned the virus that entered the computer?

Hello friends. Last night, while looking for mods for a game on Google, the mod I downloaded turned out to be infected with a virus. I ran a full scan twice with Avast, which cleaned it (and put it in quarantine). I also did a quick scan with Microsoft Defender, and nothing was found. I plan to do a full scan with Microsoft Defender in my free time. However, when the computer is idle on the desktop, the CPU usage sometimes fluctuates between 3 and 100, could it be that the virus wasn't entirely removed in your opinion? Next week, I will look into Kaspersky subscriptions. Do you think I need to reformat my computer?
