How to use the Gemini API?

Hello. I couldn't find many resources in Turkish. I also searched for some things in English but didn't achieve much. Has anyone developed something with the Gemini API before?
I want to work on something like an assistant that can provide you with answers in a specific field rather than a chatbot.
Should I get the OpenAI API? It seems to be easier and more user-friendly.
I would appreciate it if you could help. Thank you.
