Import the entire database

Hello friends. I have taken over a website from a friend. I am currently unable to reach that friend. I only have FTP credentials. I copied all the data via FTP to my own hosting. I also want to import the database. Since I don't know the phpmyadmin location, I can't do it from there. I have access information because I have the files. How can I import all the data from the database using PHP or another language (so that I can transfer it to my own database)?
