Increasing RAM on VMware HP Victus

Hello, I am using the HP Victus R1067NT model laptop with 16 GB DDR5 RAM. If I upgrade it to 32 GB, would I see benefits in using virtual machines and experience a general performance increase?
Processor: i7 14700HX
Graphics card: RTX 4060
RAM: 16 GB DDR5.
