Invalid traffic and AdSense penalty

Friends, my Adsense ads have been blocked due to 'invalid traffic.' From what I've researched, invalid traffic means artificially boosting website visits, which I have never done. This is the second time I've received an 'invalid traffic penalty.' Does anyone know the real reason behind this penalty? I would really appreciate it if someone could enlighten me on this matter.
