I want to set up an inventory system, and I found a very good one on YouTube. The author of the system shares it through GitHub and I cloned it from the terminal on LinuxMX.
So far, I have not been able to do anything because it is very outdated. It was developed for PHP 5, the Laravel version it uses is 7, and there are functions that are no longer used in Laravel 10 because they have been changed or updated...
I honestly want to use that project, but I don't know how to do it.
I am fairly new to the programming world and I want to keep learning.
