Is Kaspersky reliable?

Hello, I was looking for an antivirus program to use on my phone, tablet, and computer. I want a comprehensive one that includes features like VPN. Naturally, I came across Kaspersky and Bitdefender. Bitdefender seems better, but it is more expensive. So, I'm leaning towards Kaspersky because of the price, but since it's owned by Russians and given recent events in the US, do you think I should trust it?
