Is there anyone using Discourse?

Hello there, does anyone use Discourse software? It seems like a very nice system, but I believe it requires different requirements like Ruby. I am thinking of using this on a site on my VPS but I have questions in my mind related to the requirements. If I were to install these requirements on the server, would it cause too much load, etc.? If anyone has used or tried it, I need their feedback. Best regards.
