I want to show you a method I have been using recently to generate some income.
What you need:
- TikTok account with 1000 followers
- DHgate, Aliexpress, Alibaba affiliate account (easy to obtain)
- Monitor screen
Step 1:
Using TikTok's search feature, look up the hashtag #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt. A large number of videos will appear featuring products that dropshippers are promoting.
Step 1.1:
To find the latest and best products, use the provided filters to narrow your search to Latest 24 hours or Last week, then sort by number of Likes. By doing this, you will only see videos with the most Likes in the past 24 hours or last 7 days.
Step 2:
Look for the product being advertised on the affiliate site you chose by simply searching for what it is about. For example, a trending product at the moment is Airpods cleaners. Just search on DHgate for "Airpods Cleaner" and find the listing that matches the selected video.
Step 3:
Record a clip from the video you found using #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt and "expose" the video creator showcasing their product for less than $10 on DHgate. Use your creativity here as simply recording your monitor screen and clicking isn't very exciting, but I'm sure you can add your own unique touch.
Step 4:
Redirect viewers of the video to your link in the bio, where you will have a link tree or your own website listing all the affiliate links to products on your page. Be sure to include the same thumbnail used in the TikTok video or a clear image of the product for viewers to know exactly what to click on.
Step 5:
Post. Post. Post. The more you post, the more people will see your video. Comment on viral products saying "You can get it for $x on my page." Do everything you can "without landing on TikTok's banned spam list" to attract visits to your page. You will never run out of content; someone somewhere will be dropshipping through TikTok, and as long as people continue to do that, this method will not die out.
Additional quick tips:
Choose an affiliate offer that uses cookies rather than just 1 product, as anything they purchase on the website means you will get a commission.
Make sure to include the lowest-priced item in your offer, as people need a reason to get it from DHgate instead of the original website they saw.
Having a specific niche, such as only doing cleaning products, can work in your favor, as some Chinese wholesale sites offer affiliate deals related to the category.
Don't be afraid to directly comment on people's videos saying you have it cheaper; yes, it's a bit unethical, but we're not here for ethics, we're here to make money.
You don't have to use #TikTokmademebuyit, change it up, find a hashtag dropshippers are using and incorporate it into your videos.
