MySQL database php admin

Hello, I emptied a single table from the php admin, which is the xf_tag table. I took a full backup before doing this. I also took a separate backup of the emptied table (xf_tag). Now I want to upload it. If I upload the emptied xf_tag table, would it work? Would it overwrite it? How can we do this?
