Friends, I helped someone purchase an Apple developer account in exchange for money. Initially, I had many doubts but I thought nothing would come of it. However, after about 1.5 to 2 months, I received a call from the police station to come in for questioning. I provided my statement as required, but the outcome remains uncertain. During the police process, I became convinced that the individuals buying these accounts are fraudulent. I clarified at the station that since I sold the device, I am not liable for any issues and cannot accept responsibility for what the buyer may do. In short, they acknowledged my standpoint, but being called in for questioning still upset me. Therefore, I can only advise you not to sell these accounts to anyone. Buyers could engage in phishing or other malicious activities like data theft. Although this matter is not my area of expertise, I faced significant problems and felt compelled to inform you. I was paid 400TL, but I have been dealing with trouble for days. Apple has shared information about everyone who has had access to this device in recent years with the police. I am the primary suspect because I used it for a long time. However, please be aware that these transactions can be used for money laundering, personal data theft, and other illicit activities in various places abroad. If anyone claims to work for Apple without showing official documentation like an SGK card or another employee card, do not engage in any transactions. Never hand over your account to individuals who approach you from outside with small sums of money and ask you to transfer it to them. This warning comes from my own experience; the choice is yours. I can provide real-life examples of the issues I faced and police records to anyone who asks for them privately.
