Hello forum users. I'm starting this topic for 2 reasons. The first is to find out if a website built purely with rudimentary HTML and CSS code can be profitable. I have a project idea, and the hosting service I'm considering offers a very inexpensive package that doesn't allow me to install WordPress, which is not an option for me. The WordPress hosting costs $8, while the hosting I'm looking at costs $0.23. I've used this hosting in the past to install a PHP script for a cryptocurrency faucet, and it worked great, so I imagine a website built entirely with HTML and CSS should work even better in terms of stability. The question is, do search engines index and rank these types of websites? Not considering SEO, of course.
The second reason for this topic is because I saw a similar discussion on the forum a few weeks ago, but I can't seem to find it no matter how much I search, and I can't remember which category it was in. I thought I had saved it, but I didn't. In that discussion, a user shared a website where users posted their sites built solely with pure code. If anyone knows which discussion I'm referring to or can provide a link to it, that would be much appreciated.
