2) Restart your computer and wait for 3 minutes without performing any actions.
3) Right-click on the HijackThis software and run it as an administrator (not applicable for XP).
4) Click on the "Do a system scan and save a log file" button on the interface that opens.
5) The HijackThis scan will start automatically, do not use the mouse and keyboard until the scan is complete.
6) After the scan is complete, a Log file containing the HijackThis report will appear.
