It is more logical to answer the question "What is SEO" first. In the commonly known sense, individuals who perform the process of ranking high in search engines are called SEO engineers, if we expand the abbreviation for SEO. Many refer to the process of ranking on the first page of Google as SEO, hence the need for clarification. Those who engage in this work are referred to as SEO professionals. Everyone wants to be on the first page of Google, and everyone who does this work believes they can achieve it. Those who understand the logic of SEO can actually do this job properly. If you think of a webpage to be SEO optimized as a supermarket and design it accordingly, you will have successfully completed the internal SEO process. Let's briefly give an example from the market, and then provide information about the basic SEO principles of what needs to be done and what should be avoided.

- TAGS MARKET SIGNAGE = H1 HEADLINE = YOUR WEBSITE NAME OR MOST IMPORTANT KEYWORD (This concept may rarely vary according to the sector) Other H2 and H3's can be sectioned for the market, for example, H2 or H3, followed by sub-tag H4 for Detergents. By setting up the homepage link structure this way, you will create a user-friendly page. Redirecting to internal pages without providing much detail in the main headings on the homepage will be beneficial.

- CONTENTS AND THEME Another essential aspect is the use of unique content and a unique theme because Google loves extraordinary actions. For example, while 1000 people are watching a movie in a cinema, if one person suddenly shouts loudly, although it is not the correct behavior, technically, this is exactly what SEO is. When writing content, create fluid, non-boring content that is in line with what the user wants to hear. I recommend not using an article bot. Even if you do use it, make sure to make changes. While articles generated with bots may initially affect your ranking even if they are 100% original, you will face significant drops later. I cannot say this for every bot, but based on the tests we have conducted so far, chapgbt and Hostinger article bots have failed.

- SOCIAL LINKS Despite Google's updates in 2015 and 2017, especially with Google Panda and Google Caffeine giving points based on your presence on social media, it has been determined that Google has not been fulfilling its duty in this regard for the past year. For example, in car rental, if your website is in the 5th position on the first page, and you use LinkedIn or Medium for algorithm compatibility, this could be a big mistake as LinkedIn and Medium will directly take your ranking position causing you to drop back several pages. The reason for this is currently unknown, but some speculate that the cyber-attacks on Google from India two years ago could be a factor. My personal opinion is that Google may have imitated everyone producing backlinks through social media as well. Currently, having a social media presence is fine, but do not link it to your page and do not include outbound links, or else you may end up competing more with your social media accounts than your competitors.

- BACKLINK Is backlinking important or not is a subject of debate. However, many news sites, hospitals, or institutions do not seem to have backlinks. Yet, they still rank on the first page because they transfer the services they truly provide to their websites in a natural way. While this is my personal opinion, obtaining links from quality sites definitely has its benefits. When acquiring backlinks, it is more advisable to get industry-related backlinks or create your own private network of backlinks. Edu, gov, or tr links have much more benefits than forum links. If you do get links from forums or news sites, I recommend obtaining banner links.

- AMP This is another feature that goes against Google, similar to social media. While Google recommends AMP pages, there has been a decrease in rankings on WordPress sites after installing AMP recently. Instead, for speed purposes, it is recommended to use cloud hosting or Cloudflare. For sites being monitored by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK), it is necessary to use AMP. For iOS browsers, masking is required.

- DMCA Today's most ridiculous problem is when a site copies your content without Google reviewing the site, and if the site is older than yours or the publication date is older, there could be difficulties. Ways to overcome this include DMCA PRO membership, but it could be costly around 180 euros. Another solution is to continuously change the URL using a bot plugin, which costs between 3000 and 7000. So far, the firm that produces the Emre Nogay and Montana plugins has not received any complaints.

- DESIGN IMPLEMENTATION Actually, any design application is good for SEO if your designer knows what they are
