The newly established phpMyAdmin is not allowing login.

Hello, unfortunately I have never been able to access my newly installed MySQL and phpMyAdmin since yesterday. It did not give any errors and I have not been able to log in since the initial installation. I am sure that I have followed the installation steps correctly and set the password. If it had given an error code, I might have been able to find a solution online, but it is not providing any error code. The only message it gives is "Can't connect to MySQL server".
