Valid Credit Cards on Adwords

I am adding a virtual card to a new account in AdWords, but it requires payment upfront. It seems that the system does not support the post-payment option for prepaid cards (meaning automatic payment). Does anyone have information about this? It seems that automatic payments work with international cards. Can I get a virtual card from there?
