What is Akregator?
Akregator is an open-source news aggregator available as part of KDE. It supports RSS and Atom sources and allows users to organize news sources into categories. Akregator can display news sources from a specific category in a single list.
You can configure Akregator to fetch data from news sources at regular intervals. Alternatively, you can retrieve data from all sources or specific categories instantly with the click of a button. Akregator features tabbed browsing and includes KHTML (HTML renderer) as well as support for icons. If desired, the source page can be opened in a different browser.
Akregator has been a part of KDE since version 3.4 and is distributed as a part of the kdepim module.
