What is Cedega? Cedega is a software developed by TransGaming that aims to allow playing games originally designed for the Microsoft Windows platform on Linux. Born as a side project of the Wine software, Cedega is primarily developed to run DirectX APIs in the Linux environment. Due to its features, Cedega should be referred to more as an application layer than a game emulator.
