Which application should be downloaded for Kali Linux?

Hello,
I am planning to install Kali Linux on a virtual machine. I have tried using VirtualBox before, but I found it a bit heavy. I am considering installing it on Hyper-V or VMware instead. What are your thoughts on this? Thank you.
