WordPress lacks social media sharing previews.

Hello, I have recently started using Wordpress and am using the Yoast SEO plugin. When sharing content on social media accounts, nothing shows up regarding the content. Neither the featured image nor the snippet... only a blank URL with just the site name appears no matter what article I share. I have activated the necessary areas in the Social media section of the Yoast SEO settings, but the situation remains the same... I kindly request your assistance.
