Wordpress User Registration Form Plugin

I would like to customize the registration process for new members on my Wordpress website by asking for their name, email, and password as the default fields. I also want to receive a confirmation email for approval before new registrations are finalized. Is there a plugin you can recommend that allows for verifying new registrations from within the system? This verification process should occur internally before new users are added to the system.
